Coach Matt is Mile High Multisports resident swim expert. He is a 1997 graduate of the University of Texas. As a swimmer he was a member of the 1996 National Championship Team at the University of Texas. Matt was an Olympic Trials Finalist, NCAA Finalist, as well as 6-time NCAA All American. Matt attended Regis Jesuit High School from 1989 to 1992 as well as swimming for the Colorado Rapids Swim Team. Matt serves as the Head Coach for Highlands Ranch Aquatics (HRA), the MHM Masters team, as well as providing swim lessons. Coach Beck’s program provides guidance to some of the top level triathletes in the country. From Age Group Ironman Champions to Olympic Bronze medalists, Coach Beck’s masters swim program is one of the top triathlon swim programs in the country. As a coach, he brings technical stroke knowledge and enthusiasm to the Mile High Multisport coaching team. Matt has coached numerous State Champions, over 20 Sectional qualifiers, multiple US Open and Senior National Qualifier and finalists.
